As what we discuss in class,for the Louis vitton bag.This case the use value would be the use for carry and the exchange value would be what we get from other that looking at you carrying this bag.

But why people buy Louis vitton bag? Even it is freaking expensive and the purpose of it is just for carrying.

The reason for this is definitely the exchange value that they got from carrying this bag.It can be conclude in many way.First I would say that the person is rich.Second,the person might be trying to look rich or other word that we usually call in thailand….Hi-so(Trying to be) and last conclusion that I make would be that person is insane.

But according to Foucault .He come up with his own word that say “consumer discilpline”. Society teach and train us to consume and desire for goods.That is why we keep buying buying and buying.Untill capitalism is all around.

Do you ever wonder that everything around us is real or it is just making up by other?

In the movie call true man show it directly show how life and reality are so close to each other. Since he was born, he is always been recorded as a TV reality and everything is just the prop, well prepared from the minute he was weak up until the time he going to bed  they all make up for the true man to play along. After I watched this movie a question came to my mind. It questions me that am I real and is my life real? The answer still remains unknown for me because you will never know until other people tell you. For true man even he been control to do things but that is his life and reality. Either for me this life is a reality but somehow it might not be……

People are teach and told to believe of what they saw that is the reason why we didn’t think of our daily life as an unreal.

Fashion is a cycle. Cycle of trend mostly on what we wear. Fashion always change and absorbed from one place to another.

Tricker up-From ordinary and low fashion into the high end fashion and trend .

Tricker down- From higher class fashion that been copy and develop into the normal and ordinary fashion which everyone can support and wear them.

In the example of dave jeans.It originated from Japan and it just became popular among Thai youngster in these recent year. It’s been a while that Thai teens wearing it, dave jeans comes in various cuts and brands In my opinion ,I think that dave jeans are brought back from japan by some thai elite class people because they have a chance to go and look  at what Japanese people wear how they dress and style that they become.Then when it come to Thailand ,we adapt the design and market them in order to be able to sale in our country with the lower price but some material are cutting of due to the affordable price.

These fashion may very popular and in-trend today but it might be off trend tomorrow.But the important in fashion is that it will become popular again in the near future.

Language is what we use for  communication. And most of the countries have their own language. As the same as in china. Chinese language was invented around 1122 BCE–256 BCE but women by that time were not allow to learn them.This is why “Nushu” the language of women begin.

The reason for Chinese people that  Women did not need to know of how to read and write is because their main function in society is only to be good wives and caring mothers.

And only rich women have opportunity to learn the basic literary knowledge and the proper manner of “how to be a lady” would make their girls better brides in the future. But poor women were still deprived of the right to receive any education,that is why they created their own language called ‘Nushu’

Nushu don’t have spoken language and no one knows exactly when this begin but after the roles for women began to improve. Women were then allowed to be formally educated and learn Chinese. Nushu has become a dead language. It is sad to learn that nushu, the one and only female script ever found in the world, may become extinct because of our ignorance.

Nationalism is a combination word between Nation and -ism. Nation literally mean a grouping of people who share common history, culture, language or ethnic origin ,often possessing or seeking its own government and -ism as the suffix are used to form nouns which describe social, political or religious beliefs, studies or ways of behaving according to the Cambridge dictionary. Thus, the term Nationalism is generally used to describe two phenomena due to the translation of Longman dictionary:

(1) the desire by a group of people of the same race, origin, language etc to form an independent country

 (2) love for your own country and the belief that it is better than any other country.

In my opinion, we think regarding the word nationalism can be implying in term of loving the given country. It is hard to say how nationalism first develops but according to John Hutchinson and Anthony Smith in the book call nationalism they stated that nationalism first found expression during the course of such historical upheavals as the American and French Revolutions .And we think nationalism developed and existed because leader of any given country need their people to be unite and fight during the revolution. By that time, Nazi Germany’s government led by Adolf Hitler promoted a nationalism that combined territorial expansion with claims of biological superiority. And Nazi wanted to eliminate Jews all over Europe. Nationalism is very strong during Adolf Hitler era all solider and people love and belong in their country. In the old day people were only loyal to their city or to a particular leader rather than to their nation. In the movie call Inglorious Bastard  there are many scenes that show a very strong feeling of nationalism. Especially in the second chapter in Inglorious Bastard .

  Nazi solider reject to tell where the camp of their group located and he say “he better be kill and he is never going to sell his country” .Then the Jewish bear use the baseball bat kill the Nazi. This scene shows the definition of “Nationalism” how the film demonstrated the act of Nazi soldier love his country and feel unable to betray their homeland.

In a contrary, the act of non-nationalism can be seen in this movie as well, when the other soldier , which also capture by group of bastards which he saw the consequence of nationalism under certain circumstance which in this case mean death of POW (Prisoner Of War), So this soldier shows the act of non-nationalism by told everything he knows to the bastards. So this is a interesting idea of how a human being can feel, express and act accordingly to the given circumstance under the topic of nationalism.

Thai food is known internationally, such as “Tom Yam Kung” or “Pad Thai”,ever wonder why Thai food is so famous? Because I feel like I do know hamberger or pizza but its more like generic name of food instead of the name of food itself. I have several foreign friend that can name Thai food off the menu, in a way this makes me proud of being Thai.

Harmony is the guiding basic behind each dish. Characteristics of Thai food depend on who cooks it, for whom it is cooked, for what occasion, and where it is cooked. Dishes can be refined and adjusted to suit all palates.

Originally, Thai cooking reflected the easy living life style, Aquatic animals, vegetables and herbs were major ingredients. Chinese influences Thai food in frying, stir-frying and deep-frying.

In the modern day of Thai cooking, Thais were very adapt the new way cook cooking like fusion food, foreign cooking methods, and substituting ingredients for example, in Indian cooking was replaced by coconut oil, and coconut milk substituted for other dairy products.

Overpowering pure spices were reduce and enhanced by fresh herbs such as lemon grass and basil. Eventually, fewer and less spices were used in Thai curries, while the use of fresh herbs increased. It is generally known that Thai curries burn intensely, but for a short period of time, whereas other curries, with strong spices, burn for longer periods. Instead of serving dishes in courses, a Thai meal is served all at once, permitting diners to enjoy complementary combinations of different tasters.

It took me a while to writing something about this topic, I would naive if I will talk about the difference between male and female the equivalence or right of each gender, well… in this case I would rather talk about statutory of sexual preference in these day. I asked myself why this is important, ok let walk through the issues one by one

Well….. these questions are delicate and sensitive since they concern with human right and basic need in society, sense of belonging, that is. Why music is important to us, I mean music is a simple thing in life but is it really necessary to us like the air we breath in breath out ? If it really that important it ought to mean we couldn’t live with out it,right?

I used to spent the whole day living my life without music, keep doing thing that I need to do like reading, clean up my stuff some house work, not even one single song or any rhythm pass through my both ears. Is this mean I can live without music?

I have to say, to me the answer to this question is vary according to each individual. In a certain level or degree of each people I found that there is a difference in need of music, hearing song, making rhythm , playing instrument or simply just making a sound. I would say certain people couldn’t get through one day without music, this drive them crazy I mean it not like a life and death situation or anything but somehow they just have high degree of artistic feeling in themselves. And lately I feel like this type of people put music in a good use, humanitarian aspect to be more exact.

Earthquake in Hati for instance, a group of artists get together and make good music, good songs these song and these artist raise money for the good reason, helping people that is. I think there is much more that I can talk about regarding “music” I mean I have to admit I don’t really have anything to say at first by when I start writing it the topic itself convince me that music is quite huge in world influence.

What exactly is leisure? Do we need leisure in our life? Can we focus on our work or assignment in front of us at all time? Can we put our mind into our study every single day? And if we relax, having leisure time is this means we stay in idle mode and being non-productive?

In my opinion I think there should be balance between work and rest,by relaxing or resting should be opposite of idleness because it is the basis from which good work starts and grows. We might say that leisure is the beginning of all virtues in the sense that it is an inner attitude and we can put our mind to the openness. Its characteristics are “taking it easy” rather than “keeping busy,” of “allowing things to happen,” not “keeping things under control.”

Thus, leisure is the basis for a full awareness, for as long as we pick and choose upon availability of time that we have on our hand. And, to the degree to which our awareness is increased, our aliveness is increased. That is what leisure is – the amount of our aliveness.

Leisure is also an important aspect of people’s lives. Leisure activities are those associated with the activities that we preferred like beaches, outdoors, sports,etc. Leisure can be defined, as time not spent working or meeting the necessaries of life. It is also linked to quality of life issues. There is a strong relationship between the type of work an individual does and the way they spend their leisure time.

When I was young I was confused between the word “House” & “Home” if theses words meaning the same why should be bother to have various words for the same meaning ? Or is it only for different choice of sound ? the question remains till’ lately, I put my little brain at work. A house is merely the walls and structure that make up a dwelling in which people live. A home is so much more,It is not only where we sleep, but a place where family join together, makes memories and experiences the ups and downs of life. I have been living in different house in different location, however not every house makes me feel right at home

A home can be a house, a condo, or an apartment. To me “home” means a place where I feel comfortable, where I am with family. A house is a building, regardless of no matter environment. A place I called home does not have to be a expensive house, extravaganza furnished or does not have to fill with all costly appliances. So I can say that emotion and feeling quite important factors for anyone feel toward the place that their live in. Sense of belonging also a critical ingredient for this certain feeling, funny thing is you don’t really have to be in your own house to feel right at home, you might ask why, or some might understand why. This is really upon each individual, the truth is if someone feel that they belong to given family of given group in the society, this way they can feel comfortable a happy to stay or live there
